Well, I have not been a very active participant but still remember when
Dr. Pao continually update of the discussions in schm to the
hmong-lg@
lao.net group. Even with all those interesting topics that
Dr. Pao had shared, it still took a long while before I even ventured
out of the hmong-lg group into the schm crowd. Back then we still have
the confusion between who's who, whether it's Babyfall or Fallbaby,
until Sibtham came to the rescue. Yes, that was when everyone knew Mai
Na by "Hmong men kill". When Dr. Nkauj Hli first arrived, she was
still humble enough to share jokes and even tried to counsel young
lovers. By the way, where the heck is Tobewitty and Deja Dust these
days?
I've learned much by just observing and reading the great minds in
here's ideas. From Dr. Pao to Teev Lis, Yag Hawj to Hawj Lauj, Yag
Yaaj to Tsavlis Xyooj, Dr. Maina to Dr. Nkauj Hli, Zhen to Vaajmoob,
and others. Would really like to see Chij Tsab, Wu Xiangdao, Txawjxab
Lis, and Yaj Vamxeeb share with us more of their knowledge and wisdoms
again.
It's unfortunate that we don't get to see Teev Lis , Hawj Lauj and Dr.
Maina and many many more other intellectuals posts in here anymore.
What even more unfortunate is that some people taking things way too
serious in here. They concentrate too much on the messenger rather
than the message. Everyone wanting to claim to know how to agree to
disagree but act otherwise. Instead of trying to seek an opportunity
to agree to disagree again so all could learn and benefit by it,
revenge seem to be the only thing appear in their sharings.
Well, as the cliche goes, you would not learn to appreciate the sun
without the rain, I guess it's a good thing after all if we are in a
monsoon sometime.
