Kuamen,
first of all, that place is not a shaminism church. it was "named"
such a
thing...probably to increase the chance of positive views from
others. 2ndly, the prime purpose of the place is for cultural events,
primarily funerals...this place wasn't the "first" by the same owner.
he had one a few years ago, about a mile away from the current
location, and that one was primarily for funeral rituals. on his
first one...he ran into problems with the next door preacher over
parking spaces and practices (there wasn't one funeral service at this
place where police are not called in to settled disputes) ...and the
preacher finally bought him out...a very good profit during the peak
of the real estate market.
this year, the owner decided to open the current one--claimed to be
the 1st mong shaminism church, probably (as i said before) for fear of
loosing it again to others uas tsi nyiam hmoob tej kablig kev cai
