Somsavath Lengsavad receives American guest
Mr. Somsavath Lengsavad, Deputy Prime Minister and Standing Member of
the Government received at his office in Vientiane yesterday, 27
December a courtesy visit from Ms Betty McCollum, member of USA low
house who arrived Vientiane on 21 December for a short working visit to
Laos.
At the talk, Deputy Prime Minister Somsavath Lengsavad praised and high
valued the visit to Laos of the Ms Betty McCollum as a part of
contribution to further the traditional relation between Laos and USA.
On this occasion, Ms Betty McCollum thanked to Deputy Prime Minister
Somsavath Lengsavad for his warm welcome and informed him about her
activities during stay in Laos.

mccollum's base is quite strong on the east side. i doubt she'll be
unseated anytime soon. for now, the science of politics is that
everyman/woman politician is in it for him/herself.

Hummm...What makes Pajtshiab mad today? Is it Ms Betty McCollum? or the
full moon?
McCollum had won the seat, because she received more votes, at least by
one vote. That's called majority rules. You don't need to be mad at
her, there is not much you can do about it, the best is to be more
prepared for the next election.
Today, she has full right to voice the wish of your opponents and
surely not you.
