It's unfortunate that you are confusing about who I am. Even more
unfortunate is that you took the context of this thread way out to the
left field. The name Phwvnyawm has been showing up in SCHM for quite
a long while now, but perhaps not as long as I thought. I have
already told everyone who I am and the intention of my pen name way
back...even before when people thought that I am a woman. I have
never claim to be a Moob Thaib, even though I have actually been a
Moobthaibteb all these times. When you are bored, perhaps you should
do a search in this group, then you will know why you are wrong to
accuse me of "dag tias yus yog Hmoob Thaib nyob Thaib teb nad."
Back to the talent of our people. We have improve our entertainment
skills dramatically within the last 25 years. In the music side, I
still remember when it was such a big deal to actually see that we
finally know how to use the keyboard, back when Kaab Nkaus Vas was the
first band to do it. I could be wrong on this, but they were the
first group that I notice could do it, Sounder broke the barrier of
finally able to make the guitar sounds like the keyboard. Back when
ST Universal Studio was still rule the video side, the majority of
filming were just showing of events in China and SE Asia then have
comentary about them. Of course we got Dr. Tom and many more movies
later, I still feel that the quality is at a slower pace than what we
could be at. I have already gave my two cents when Sibtham gave the
link to the movie Cib thiab Cas. But that's more with the
choreography and technology side of thing. Yes, I understand that
everything involve with technology now a day, but what I'm refering to
is the technic of using the technology. When I made the comparison of
the Thai professional to the Mong in USA, not that I don't think our
people are professional caliber, it's the small stuffs that gave the
film more life is what I'm refering to. Even though we may have many
cameras and switching back and forth with many angles, the outcome
still very bland. It seems as though the only thing we know how to do
is to shoot straight at the target and don't think anything about
having a curve or lay over, or faded background, etc. etc. Even when
we have the very thing that I've just mention, the music or no music
background just kill the mood of the scence. However after seeing
many videos made by the have, those in the industrialize country
already, and a few of the have not, those still in the developing
countries, it seems to me like the have nots are better than the
haves.
