As a Catholic, I always vote for Republican but this election, I might
not vote for anybody. I like the Republican for strong in defense and
family value and not encouging the lazy people to be on welfare but
the choosing of his VP in a desperate address to get femate vote and
by picking a woman with less experience than Obama after saying on his
campaign that Obama has no experience, I believed that McCain will not
win this election.

The man is old and not in a good health and what will happened when
something is happened to him during the presidency, I don't think his
VP will be able to handle the job.

He made a bad judment by choosing his VP and this is very surprised to
us as Republican. This is a political choice but it is not a good
choice for America in time of war and depression(bad economics) that
we are facing now.

My wife and I are not happy about this bad choice as we discused
politic tonite. We even a poor middle class are looking for every way
possible not to vote for Obama and had hoped a well known experienced
person like Romney or Powell would be his choice----he goofed badly
and will lose the election because of it. sorry------but his choice
has turned us the other way---at least they have youth and
experience.

I really don't understand what are The GOP and McCain thinking this
time? Pandering to the Hillary's women suppoters will not work with
this VP choice. I think, in fact, it may finally go more to sway such
voters to Obama. An ultra-conservative woman will not attract the
Hillary crowd and will likely be a deterrant to the Independents and
undecided Centrists.

The VP needs to be ready to step in to the Presidency immediately, and
Palin has even less of a CV that Obama. Gee-"She's a mother, a hockey
player, an ex-sports caster, ex-mayor and currently a governor.." This
is a winning combination for the Dem's in November and Iraq will be
like another Vietnam and Obama will support the same sex marry if he
has been elected as our next president.

a few weeks ago, we all say a little on who will win the
presidency....i believe all of you guys said that Obama will win.
only one other (based on the choice between mccain and obama), and
myself, said that McCain will win. Note that my "opinion" was based
on "caaj ceeg/noob".....

however, last week, McCain made this surprising move...picking a
"nobody/woman" to be his running mate. not that i'm dissing
women...but the fact of the matter is....his woman is still a
nobobdy...thus, the power of my "noob" opinion seems to be fading.
although, obama's "name" is not as big as mccains, becuase of his vp
choice, i believe obama do have a very good chance now (still basing
on caajceeg).

i believe McCain made a poor choice...unless, there are other hidden
agenda that we don't know about.

John McCain next move will be VP = Monica Lewinsky issue. The only
difference is Sarah P. is his VP instead.

He..he...he, Trying to follow Bill Clinton's path, but a bit too soon.

Just a joke, but I believe that his pick is sour to the Republican as
well as the nation. I'm not sure the thinking of advisors were, but I
hope they have a better agenda than what we see. We only see from the
outside and what appear to the world. What deep inside their agenda
could be a win-win to the Republican party. Who know!

Let me entertain SCH as a devil advocate on McCain VP pick.

Like many other I’ve have logically predicted a woman VP (Senator
Hutchison from Texas) for McCain if Obama ever dishes Hillary.
But this pick of the Alaska Governor is even more unorthodox and I
welcome...

The real "change" in this election is first Obama, then Palin. Call
me an over the hill or a fogey, but I personally like experienced old
men for the presidency - McCain and Biden both have the goods and are
over qualified to be presidents . But I'm confident, in our celebrity
crazed age, we will eventually elect Obama for president primarily
because of his youthful look, charisma, and style. He also
communicates well, commends people's respect, and his inpirational
fiber can motivate the laziest person. We have seen people who have
never voted before expressing their interest in voting for Obama. He
makes a turkey believe that it can fly like an eagle and whether you
believe it or not, hollywood has taken over politic? The McCain team
realized it. That's why they resort to Palin as their...

The good and experience people do not want to run with GOP candidate
this time because they know that they will not win this election. Bush
makes a lot damage to the party in his 8 years. McCain made a bad
decision like Mondale di and both of them going to loose at the end.
But who knows, the miracle could happen.

Let me put in my 2 cents...LOL

It does not matter who is qualified or is not qualified. After seeing
our own current President "Bush", then there should be no question
asks about qualifying. Here is what I don't get it.

1. Republican is the front-runner of family values; Palin's daughter
is pregnant, as it cannot be double standard when it comes down to the
republican ideologies (characters, principle, integrity, and moral)
and teen’s pregnancy.
2. We need to know more about Palin background and her stands on real
issues, not who is readily to be president or not, and the over shadow
her daughter.
3. The involvement of herself in those leaks story, her political
affiliation, and her works as mayor and governor.

The media played a pivotal role on these concern issues—as they were
over shadowing these stories to downplay Obama’s bit for the oval
office. Well, after all the over all populations in American are 80%%
stupider than you and me. Again, it would be another mistaken—another
4 years of the Bush era.
