event with other foreign news agencies by the Lao PDR government.
Maybe next time when Laos would be more open to overseas Laotians.

Your disappointment may be warranted, but I don't think Francophone
club can be opened up more than just a privileged few who remain the
sole French speaking people left over from the older generation,
because the French speaking Lao environment have been neglected and
brutely halted to stand still for so long by the French. To
resuscitate this lost cause might take more than just a few, and in
the meantime, the world has been rolling on other language for now
English, then who knows that might be Chinese?
