Hmong bank has been on the card for many years.
It is always a challenge when you dare to go where no others Hmong
have been before - as the Start Trek team would say!

But this does not mean that it is impossible to have a Hmong Bank,
given the Hmong population around the globe and the number of Hmong
businesses in all sectors.

Since early 2007, the Hmong Universal Inc from Ohio has began the
process to set up a Hmong bank. This bank will have a federal license
so it can operate in any U.S States and territories as well. It is a
slow process but like anything new, every step has to be done with
care. So far, I can say (as I have been part of this historic venture
- and I have mentioned in passing in SCH/SCL before about this Hmong
Bank) that all the ground work has been done and the dream to have a
Hmong Bank is coming into fruition sooner that we expected.
Some of you may have seen the Hmong Bank stand at the MN July 4
celebration.

It is envisage that the first Hmong Bank branch will be opened in the
Twin Cities soon. If any one interested to take part in this Hmong
Bank historic venture ( and we want EVERY Hmong to have a share of
this venture - so the door is wide open for ALL), please email me for
