HND (www.hndinc.org) recently learned of the existence of a second HND
(www.hmongnational.com) on August 4, 2008 after a press release
denouncing a Minnesota elected official was discovered through an
online press release distribution service.

Over the course of the week, HND staff identified the existence of
numerous press release statements issued by the second HND through the
following online press release distribution services: PressZoom.com,
Media-Newswire.com, and PRLog.org. HND Board of Directors and staff
are aware that the second HND continues to issue press releases
through these online distribution services on a daily basis. The
latest press release was issued today on PressZoom.com concerning the
persecution of Hmong and Lao Christians in Laos.

Please note that HND does not subscribe to the content of the press
releases issued by the second HND. All approved and official HND
press release statements and media-related documents are sent directly
to HND media contacts and through the HND Listserv, as well as posted
on the HND website at www.hndinc.org.

Just from a quick glance at the second HND site, it seems they want more
concrete result than what the first HND has delivered thus far. I could be
wrong, and I often am, but it seems that the second HND wants a head on
political action to get more attention to the human right issue and other
relate issues that would gain more attention to our people (developing Hmong
nation) than just what the first HND have been concern with thus far (a
yearly conference with nothing much to show for afterward). It amuses me
quite a bit to learn that the second HND already had a barbecue event in DC
for our people that no one knows anything about. Will there be anyone
participating in their upcoming demonstration event, since they didn't even
bother to invite anyone to their free lunch barbecuing...

at least WHPC and CWHP were "creative" enough to swap the words around
so we wouldn't get confused with identical names.

now, we have these 2 HND, Inc. could we designate the first HND,Inc,
as HND0 and the second HND,Inc, as HND1? or is it better to start
indexing them from 1? i.e. HND1 and HND2?

If that is the case, all I see are 5 old white ladies, and one old
white guy. Maybe that is their true membership?
