Reading from your post, I have the feeling you are not a searcher - a
searcher for God. Bt just for the sake of commenting, here is my view
about God. The search for God is the most intimacy of a person. Just
like when you are alone in the desert somewhere and very thirsty. And
you are try to quench that thirst. You have tried all that is
available at hand and nothing can quench the thirst. You will continue
searching and searching, and searching until you find it. When you
find it, you will not just drink but take bath and submerge yourself
in it. You will be speechless for the joy of it and the quenching you
receive. At this junture, you will not ask, is there water?
Lao Tzu say, the truth that can be told of is not the absolute truth.
He simply means, if some else drink the water and then told you it is
real and truly quenching but still does not quench your thirst. Not
untill you have drink it yourself.
At the police academy, we taized each other as training purposes. To
taize other and having them describe to you, it givis you different
feeling than someone else actually taize you.
Many people before you, Budha, Basho, Krisna, Lao tzu, Ma Tzu Tsuang
Tzu have searched and found - found something. They told in plain
words, in songs, in dances, in paintings, in books, Bible, Koran,
Covenant, in rig Vedas and you do not believe. Why would you believe
me now or any one else that will tell you or answer you, yes there is
God or no, there is no God?
It doesn't hurt if you do not find, if you find, God is all yours to
keep. This apply to all and everyone...
