Thorn...

What you said has some validity...and I know exactly what you mean.
But there are more reasons behind the existence of the resistance
(jungle people) in Laos.

One more thing... the jungle people are a highly pricy commodity for
Laos, Vietnam and other neighboring countries. What is really
troublesome to all is that all parties concerned are happy to let
those people rot in the jungle - and it makes one wonders what is all
the metta, karua of the Laoness have gone to?

And what has happen to the civilized men and women of the world in the
21st century who can just stand by and watch those women and children
(in the jungle of Laos) rot away before their eyes?

Lastly, what has all the world media has done to help those jungle
people apart from using them to sell their papers? NO follow-up? Is
there such responsibility? How much their story would be worth in the
street of America?

May be the jungle people should sell their story to the highest
bitter... at least to get some money to keep them survive?

Any comment?
