Hey, those are good songs! Even though I have no clue what those songs
talking about, used to listen to some of them (Aline from Hnub Kaj's list
and Et tu dance avec lui and Monaco 28 degree from your list) back in the
eighties. Used to never like listening to bass until heard Monaco 28 degree
and this one Indian slow song (begins with ja na and then something to
something else). Of course later on start listening to the Police with
Every Breath You Take and by then start learning to like bass.
It's not French but at least it's something that I can understand.

Good reason to post something to remember the past.. time doesn't seem
to slow down.
Also let me entertain you tonight with some oldies:
The following is more about artistic expression. Jacque Brel was
immortal with his
signature piece "Ne me quite pas". An equivalent translation is "If
you go away". in
hmong it would be 'Tsis xob ncaim kuv mus". It seems like this
interpretation broke all
barriers such as language and race and only art reigns! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KjdjsFf-l4
Revolutionary...years before MTV when a French artist man met a
beautiful and talented English actress.
The controversy part was at the end where 'moaning' from actual
intercourse was recorded
it was banned in many European countries http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHiMDB19Dyc
For those who stayed alone in the dark and never asked her for a
dance, for those who
could not win her heart back...or even for those who danced together
and never ended up together.
In my days I have received late call to pick up heartbroken
friends...well this melodic
and up beat song could be played at the repeat mode for days and
nights. One often wonder
what if...... It was bad medication but it was the only thing that
worked! Life must goes on :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBDxgMMfMQ8&feature=PlayList&p=D13B411E5F4E1BBC&index...
