This timeline relates the experience of 11 travellers on a mini-bus
between Don Det (on the Laos border) and Phnom Phen in Cambodia. The
trip is meant to take 10-12 hours. Initially I was signed up for
Kratie, a journey of 6-7 hours however I stayed on and the day ended
up being almost 24 hours of travelling hell.
If you want to skip the boring bits it starts to turn bad after around
18:00, coincidentally the time that we were meant to reach Kampong
Cham.
06.45 - awake to the noise of neighbour Pierre packing and leaving
next door at Don Det
07:00 - get up and pack myself, check out by 7.25
07:30 - meet at Lanexang Travel Agency at the beachy wharf at Don Det,
confirm that I'm getting the boat from the border, will be met at
Stung Tren by Mr Sung and will get a bus to Kratie
07:55 - get in longtail boat with five others over to the mainland at
Nakasang
08:15 - board jumbo (public transport bus) for border with the five
others (Mark + Laura, Monica and Scotty)

Dr. Souk,
It is simple to find out who is the real and who is the imposter.
Simply click the "profile link", find the poster IP address or compare
the e-mail address carefully. You will know exactly if the post is
from a real or the doubled poster. Am I wrong here?
By the way, what make you think this imposter is bak meo phi ba? Your
racist remark never changed. May budda and God bless you and bring you
to light! So you will have a chance to expose and feel the real peace
on earth.

PhasaLao Buck Meo mean, disoriented Khonmeo or
even disoriented Khonlao we also call Buckmeo too.
Forgive our language sometime one word can mean
many things and Khonlao are not racism (skin) but
may look down on poor people (money) in the past.

Phet Yai,
Thanks for the NEW slang, but that is no what our respected Dr. Souk
meant. It is sad that Lao Nork (Hmong & Lao) has so many racists.
To Dr. Souk 2 and any other doubled posters,
Please use your own screen name(s). You will not accomplish anything
by doing so; unless you are intended to worsen the relationship
between Hmong and Lao. Please be informed that there is a limit to
your freedom of speech; and be informed that it is illegal to flame
others in the United States of America. You may be hunted down if you
don't stop this kind of posting.
Thanks for your cooperations,
HL
