Though I've not venture across the ocean to see the country of my
birth for more than 3 decades. It is still a dream in me that one
day; I will have the opportunity to visit. However, the subject I'd
like us to share our opinions on is the subject of RESPECT & LOVE
between Hmong-lao, Hmong-thai and Hmong-american.

Perhaps those of you who had visited Thailand and Laos can contribute
to this subject in a firsthand experience. The notion or consensus
that I heard of was that the hmong-thai and Hmong-lao don’t
particularly view hmong-american with high regards. They look at Hmong-
american likes a bunch of womanizers and show-off bastards. I don’t
completely blame them for their behavior since there were a number of
Hmong-american who had portrayed themselves like animals in the past.
However, if anyone from America, regardless of their agenda, the local
hmong-thai would look down on them like hyenas. There's very little
respect from them, let alone get invited to dinner at their homes.
