Aloha All Hawai`i Songwriters and Music Lovers!

THE KAUA`I MUSIC FESTIVAL SONGWRITER SEARCH is returning to The rRed
Elephant on the last Thursday of each month, March through June.

TUNE IN to Barefoot Bob's "Songwriter Showcase" show on KTUH Radio
(www.ktuh.org) THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 22 from 12 NOON - 3PM to hear all
about these upcoming events and about the 2008 Kaua`i Music Festival itself.

THIS IS NOT LIKE "AMERICAN IDOL" - No specific critique is offered nor
embarassing auditions! Judges simply pick the best constructed songs.

Here are the dates:
- March 27 (6 - 9PM)
- April 24 (6 - 9PM)
- May 29 (6 - 9PM)
- June 26 (6 - 9PM)

SONGWRITERS: No entrance fee is required! Simply show up between 6 -
6:30PM to sign-up. 12 names will be selected at random to perform each
night. We will hold sound checks from 6:30 - 7PM and performances will
be held between 7 - 9PM, with a short intermission.

*********REQUIRED: Please be sure to bring FOUR COPIES OF YOUR LYRIC
SHEET with your name and contact info for the judges. Please make this
as legible and presentable as possible to assist the judges.

The top 2 winners each night will win free attendance to the 2008 Kaua`i
Music Festival. Then, in June, we will have a "play-off" of all
previous winners. The Grand Winner will also win a guaranteed
performance spot in the KMF Songwriting Contest at the event itself.
This is a great opportunity to appear in front of world renowned
producers, record label executives, and other industry professionals!

MUSIC LOVERS: No cover charge! Simply show up to hear some great
music by local songwriters. But be sure to come early to get a good
seat and to load up on some great coffee and food!
