Just received an email from a HS classmate who
solicited us for donations to the above. He worked on
the planning committee. Looks like it will become a
regular feature on the Center Schedule. [I'm trying
again posting this from my shell account which is
faster than a web browser with dial up access. Posting
was with little success in the past. Perhaps this has
been fixed recently. We also had a previous post in
this ng on this topic of Mainland Hawaiians, but I
don't seem to see this on my shell browser. Hence, this
new thread]

Here's an excerpt from the email:

"Thanks again for your support at the Seattle Center.
It was so successful, that the Live Aloha! festival has
been made part of the Festal Programs where only
certain enthnic communities are automatically schduled
in every year. This is the first time that the Hawaiian
community has been included and will be included with
no time expiration. Mahalo and ahui hou."
