Favorite Son Obama wins in Iowa...

It was in the news on many of the local radio stations,
but just in case some of you missed this...

There's a terrific story by Dan Boylan on Obama in the
Honolulu Midweek Weekly. But it's spread over three web
pages with a lot of advertisements in between.

But the pics are good and in color on the web site.

What exactly are the qualifications, as far as you are concerned?
I gather that he meets all the REAL ones, or he would have been
disqualified before now.

Or is it just that he's Not White?
Or Not A Republican?
> He has very little political experience.

Define 'Little'?
He's certainly got enough:

Now you're describing The Shrub.

Dunno if many people have noticed, but during the term of the "Bush"
"Administration", that the price of Gold has Tripled.

Meh, he's still head and shoulders above the current one, but I'll
always
compare a given president to either Kennedy or Lincoln. Or Reagan.

Especially the latter. I mean, he made me LIKE Republicans. And Lincoln
was the first Republican. But the current crop ... I'll stop now.

But I'm a die-hard Kennedy fan, and probably always will be.

The current congress is overwhelmingly Democrat.
And it's far from 'do-nothing'.
If anything, they're doing less evil than the previous one, but they are
far from innocent.

Quite frankly, I'd gleefully take a real 'do-nothing' congress right
about
now; it would be a dramatic improvement over what we've got.

And do NOT get me started on the Republican-Hamstrung Senate.

deafening! They'll all be screaming at you for bringing up the

Ah, ok. Let's see, he was sworn on on Jan 4, 2005, so that's 3 years.
Check.

Reagan's got nothing on the Shrub.
And as for the "Dummycrats"... my own pet name for them is far worse.

I do sometimes wonder.
I play his inaugural speech from time to time; it's inspiring.
I do not think we shall see his kind again.
I do so hope i'm wrong on that.
