Well, he has already discounted his infallibility by apologizing. Now the
question is: will he be strong enough of a leader who's willing to use the
opportunity to enlighten the millions of Catholics on this very central, yet
fallacious doctrinal issue of the church.

He didn't really apologize, I don't think there was a need to.
Furthermore, he is only infaillible when it comes to Catholic
teachings.

Enlighten them, because they won't go to Heaven?
Which fallacious doctrinal issue is that?

I dunno, my Dad is a Free Mason and he swears that he is still alive
only because of his affiliation. I am sure he believes that. I am just
not ready to give so much power to a secretive Society. I am of course
willing to be wrong. I like the idea that they embrace and respect
other people's Faith. Jules will probably learn a bit from them.

...an article published by a Xtian Institution. Did you expect it to
be free of biases? Surely, you can't be that naive, but I am willing
to be wrong.

Just so you know...
Absolute Truth - Inflexible Reality
"Absolute truth" is defined as inflexible reality: fixed, invariable,
unalterable facts. For example, it is a fixed, invariable, unalterable fact
that there are absolutely no square circles and there are absolutely no
round squares.
