S**t! Last month we were looking for a house around Canape du Vert. Now
this crap starts up again. Time to get into shape (at the gun range).

Recently I suggested we buy another car as the one we have is no
longer pretty even though it doesn't have very many miles. The other
half said we shouldn't "for security reasons"

Read this and tell me this whole kidnapping thing is not orchestrated
with complicity of the GPS owning folks.
Why are some American kidnap victims treated so well and even released
without ransom payment?
How come the FBI manages to "negotiate" with the kidnapping gangs and
no one gets killed, and sometimes no ransom paid?
Read the testimony for yourself....

I don't understand Jafrik...who stands to benefit either way? Am I
sensing you are now an anti-Prevalist?

Anti-Prevalist? Far from it. On the contrary, I am hoping president
Preval will find the means and skills to maneuvre through all the
obstacles that Haiti's self-imposed "friends" will surely put on the
path of his program of national reconciliation and rebuilding.
Who stands to benefit from chaos in Haiti?
Those who justify their existence by that chaos. Notice that every time
President Préval comes out and makes a stand for MORE BULDOZZERS, LESS
TANKS in Hait, somehow, the "insecurity monsters" raises its ugly head
once again.
Think about it Mango. How come with over 8 thousand well equipped U.N.
soldiers, guns have been entering the country so easily and make their
way in the most impoverished areas of Port-au-Prince...where anything
expensive (like a large AK47, M16 etc...) obviously stand out like
Apaid in Cite Soleil?

Jaf, what vested interest does the blan have in fucking us over?
I find it much too easy to always blame the spectre of the blan.
Are we then innocent choir boys?

While my heart goes out to Lebanon and her people, Hezbollah should

The blan? But, why? I would think a prosperous and functioning Haiti
might represent a good market for capitalists, no? Why then should
he (the blan) take chaos over order?

The capitalist is doing fine as it is. How much does an AK47 cost?
Order you say? it depends where and why. There was "order" in
Saint-Domingue when Cocoa and sugar were the products - 20 thousand
capitalist, 450 thousand slaves. There was "order" in Johannesburg
under P.W. Botha, in the Congo, under Leopold. There was "order" under
Duvalier when Mickey was making T-Shirts. There is "order" today as the
AK47s make their way from Florida.
Those whose blood fill the streets are mere consummers. The producers
are doing fine, from Haiti to Lebanon.
