This is what I think of the Olympic protests.
The Olympic Games should be kept free of politics whether you like
China or not.
When breaking this rule is rewarded with respectability it become an
epidemic.

Nonsense. When the IOC was considering which city to award the 2008
Summer Olympics to, the CCP told the IOC that they would increase the
human rights enjoyed by Chinese and guarantee the human rights of people
attending the games, including journalists.
In other words, POLITICS was part of the CCP's application for the right
to hold the games.

He is a CCP bum boy.
You are perfectly correct.
China is facist and deserves no respect doe it has any. Unfortunately it is
rather large and rather smelly - just hard to ignore.
Respect no - none.

Rioting is not human rights.
They are trying to use the Olympic games to promote their political
interest.

This rule has been "honored in the breach" as the saying goes.
BTW, the hooligans who attacked the monks' demonstration have not gained
respectability no matter how many times you repeat it.

Yes. But you have changed the subject. You said "free of politics". I
showed a contradiction. Why change the subject?

In order to claim victory the Olympic spirit goes down the drain.
China is a big power the Olympic game is nothing. It's only the sport
enthusiasts that are hurt. Pity the athletics that must be getting
distracted by all these.
