KIND hearted knitters have been busy making more than 1,000 woolly
hats for babies in Tibet and Africa.
Horncastle Hobby House, in North Street, joined Save the Childrenās
Knit Kit back in March.
It is a campaign to make woolly hats for babies at risk from
hypothermia in countries like Tibet.
Owners Jo Scarbro and Dinah Ward said they were amazedADVERTISEMENT by
the response from people who have been happily knitting for the good
cause.
Some knitters have not just been knitting one or two hats - they have
been knitting dozens and more still.
Beryl Firth managed to knit 130 little hats and Barrie Gosling made
45.
