HILARY CLINTON SHOULD CHECK UNDER THE TABLE!

Author: SLOW DEATH
Date: May 9, 2008 21:37

Hilary should spend time checking what goes on under Bill's table instead of
trying to destroy the Democrat's chance of winning the next election.
Another Monica Lewinski may be doing her tricks on Bill's dick. She is not
fit to lead America when she can't even manage her house hold. Besides, it
is a foregone conclusion that OBAMA will be the next President

Aid is on the way to devastated Myanmar but so is heavy rain

Author: Zomi

=====
Zomi says:

"Believe me, the government will not allow outsiders to go into the
devastated area," said Yangon food shop owner Joseph Kyaw. "The government
only cares about its own stability. They don't care about the plight of the
people."

The SPDC is worse than animals.
=====
Highlights:

The U.N. agreed to resume flights but relief workers, including Americans,
were still being barred entry.

Heavy rain that is forecast in the next week is certain to worsen the plight
of almost 2 million people awaiting food, clean water, shelter and medicine.

The government, which wants full control of relief operations, has less than
40 helicopters, most of them small or old. It also has only about 15
transport planes, primarily small jets unable to carry hundreds of tons of
supplies.

The uses of Zhou En-lai (aka Chou En-lai) in Chinese politics.

Author: LMC Society
Date: May 9, 2008 18:14

mao was a nutter, and his faithful servant was chou en-lai. though
mao is celebrated as a national hero who created the people's
republic, he's not a beloved or endearing figure. for many chinese,
their affection is reserved for zhou en-lai. it is said that zhou
survived mao's many madnesses. with great patience and commitment, he
prepared china for reform, openness, and economic growth in the post-
mao yrs. critics of zhou will say the man had no character. he was a
chameleon who said and did anything to survive. he supported mao all
the way and betrayed many loyal friends. he was a coward and so on.
his defenders will say zhou had no choice. he could have chosen honor
and faced persecution/death like all the others OR survive by any
means possible and cautiously prepare china for a better...

Beijing subway to adopt security check on passengers from next month
http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2008-05/09/content_8136610.htm

www.chinaview.cn 2008-05-09 16:00:15

BEIJING, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Beijing passengers will have to face
security checks by machines, dogs or police officers at all subway
stations as from the end of June.

Friday's Beijing Morning Post quoted the city's public security
bureau as saying that security measures would cover all operational
subway lines and Line 10, which is yet to go into operation.

The capital has a very busy subway system. On April 30, it carried
4.3 million passengers daily, breaking its own record. Butno security
equipment has been installed at subway entries except Dongzhimen
station in eastern Beijing along Line 2.

Passengers will have to drink bottled water and other beverages
they carry into the subway if security machines and police dogs could
not identify them, the police source said.

The police called on passengers to cooperate, the newspaper said.
It also publicized a hotline 008610-64011327 for information on people
bringing combustible substances and explosives into the subway.
