Does anyone know the Chinese name for this writer called Liao Yiwu?

I heard about this book, called "Corpse Walkers, True Life Story, China from
the Bottom Up." There is an interesting article about him in the Denver
Post. Sounds interesting. But I have never heard of the writer before. NPR
says he lives in Sichuan. What's his Chinese name?

  Dr. Chee found guilty

Author: Tah Hwoh Chi
Date: May 31, 2008 21:21

Even when Dr. Chee was "found" guilty of defaming Old Lee & Son by the
kangaroo court of Singapore, many Singaporean are still harboring the
idea that Old Lee and his daughter-in-law are hiding, misuse and
unlawfully tossing away the country's money wealth and sovereignty
funds. Singapore GICs and Temasek does not open their accounts to the
publics. Yet Old Lee & Son claimed that they are "transparent". Dr.
Chee could be right in trying to say that Old Lee & Son are running
Singapore like what TT Durai had done to NKF. There was nothing wrong
with this speculation.

qualifies for competition etc and this art peice looks like a stand
witha monn like shape with a human lying against the moon with the leg
crossed and the name of this art peice is called peace. We can also
present this gisft to Kofi Annan as U.N id doing peacekeeping job as
well as charity to relief suffering of people.

  MY MISERABLE STORY ( 5/31 /2008)

Author: chuandetu

I am a naturalized US citizen. I am from Shanghai, China. I
received my Ph.D. degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-
Madison
in
December 2000. I have no criminal record. The legal document
indicates
that I have never been a suspect of any crime. But s since November
1995, my basic human rights have
been seriously abused by police officers of the Madison Police
Department (hereafter MPD), individual police officers in the State
of
Maryland, the Secret Service Agents in Washington DC and individual
New York police officers when I have lived in Madison, Wisconsin,
Maryland, Washington DC and New York City, respectively. I have been
living in New York City since March 2001. In addition, I assume that
the
police officers also have had many civilians involved in the alleged
crimes...

(05-31) 04:00 PDT Baghdad - --

Thousands of followers of Shiite Muslim cleric Muqtada al-Sadr
protested Friday in Shiite enclaves across Iraq against plans for a
long-term security pact that would allow for an extended U.S. military
presence in the country.

"No, no to America! No, no to the occupation!" demonstrators chanted
as they waved Iraqi flags and banners after Friday afternoon prayers
in al-Sadr's Baghdad stronghold of Sadr City. "Yes, yes Muqtada! Long
live al-Sadr!"

Some of the protesters carried pictures of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri
al-Maliki dressed as former President Saddam Hussein. In one corner, a
group burned an effigy of al-Maliki, then danced and stomped on it, as
Iraqi government soldiers kept their distance.

Pakistan abuzz with rumour of Musharraf's resignation

Islamabad - Despite repeated denials by the beleaguered President
Pervez Musharraf over the last three days, Pakistan remained abuzz on
Saturday with rumours of his almost inevitable stepping down.

'I was in my office this morning when a friend of mine informed me
through an SMS that the military had forced Musharraf to resign. I
checked it out on TV but there was nothing about it,' said Irfan
Ahmed, a computer engineer at a local software company, while buying
sandwiches for his lunch from a bakery in Islamabad.

Ahmed said many of his colleagues and relatives had also received
similar messages in recent days. 'I hope he (Musharraf) quits soon so
political calm returns to the country,' he added.

Musharraf, who took over in a bloodless coup in 1999, has been under
immense pressure to leave office since February 18 elections which saw
his political allies defeated.
