Its a sin to commit suicide.

Dear All,

Before long, in two weeks or so time , the anniversary will be coming
up. we will be hearing voices, it will be noisy again and they will
go away.

We have to expect some people will be “ Khway Chee Jout Yey Nhuu ”,
tendering the dried dog’s phoo. Instead of going forward, they are
dwelling in the past, remembering, the negatives or “Anait Htar Yon “
bad things with foul smell.

After the tragic incidents or events during these years there are
things , good things, positive things “Aite Htar Yon” the whole list
of them, to see, to praise and to cheer by saying, “ well done my sons
” in political, economical and social fields and in all fields.

More to praise , more to cheer, more to be proud, because these are
achieved amid difficulties., amid sabotages against SPDC and the worst
of it making the lives of the people suffer by the opposition, by the
enemies within and from outside.

The opposition does not realised what they are doing to the nation ,
to the people .What they are doing is creating the hell for the people
of Myanmar, among them , their own parents, their own relatives..

Government School Forbids Students from Speaking their own Language
August 19, 2008
By WCRP:

In June 2008, Daw Kyi Kyi Mar, headmistress of the government high
school in Htin Yuu Village, Than Byu Zayut Township Mon State, has
forbidden students from speaking Mon language in the school.

According to a mother of the student, “This year is the first time
they have banned talking Mon language in the school. They banned it in
the classroom as well as outside the classroom.”

She added, “If the headmistress hears the students speaking in Mon she
demands tax from the students. Students are scared to speak Mon
language at the state school”.

Htin Yuu village is a Mon village and the spoken language is Mon;
villagers are not satisfied with the actions of the headmistress.
Although they don’t like her and want her to move to another area,
they don’t know who they can appeal to and are also afraid for their
security as the headmistress has a very good relationship with local
authorities, who rarely side with the villagers.

Mon residents allege misappropriation of funds for transformer

IMNA
September 4, 2008

Residents of Mon Sanpya quater in Pegu Town (Bago) are apprehensive of
losing their money, which they paid for electric transformers which
are yet to be setup.

People in Mon Sanpya quarter had applied for setting up transformers
for the quarter to the ministry of electric power.

The quarter members had collected 10,000 Kyat from each family for
power supply to the quarter.

"We gave the money in keeping with their demand, but two months have
gone by and the transformers are yet to be set up. There is a lot of
corruption involved," claimed a community leader.

Quarter members collected money from at least 500 houses, which are
using electricity since last July. Some electric poles have already
been setup.

"The government has given permission and they have ordered the
transformer, but I don't know why it has not been received yet," a
woman who is close to Mon Sanpya quarter told IMNA.

saw refugees.

The number of refugees arriving from Irrawaddy delta to TPP town has
increased and most of them are entering Thailand seeking jobs.

"The TPDC chairman U Myo Kyi ordered local authorities and asked
ceasefire group's leaders and supporters to report to him if they saw
refugees," a business man told IMNA.

More than 30 refugees arrived in TPP town and they hired brokers to

Asking private donors to stop distributing food to survivors of the Cyclone
Nargis?

What kind of government is this?

3 months ago: This photo taken on May 24, 2008 near Yangon shows a leaflet
written by the township Peace and Development council (part of SPDC - State
Peace and Development Council) delivered to local people at a Yangon exit
check point, asking private donaters to stop distibuting food to survivors
of the Cyclone Nargis. Cyclone disaster workers said on May 24 they still
had no word on when they would get the promised full access to Myanmar,
which wants the world to donate 11 billion dollars for reconstruction.

  Typical Singaporean Society?

They say No money,no honey!! OR No Money, no candy!! No denial, in
fact. But there is no human in you when man don't take responsibility.
See...

One of my sisters went to Singapore 6 months ago for a job search as
you know lives in Myanmar is getting harder. Fortunately she has got a
job in a mobile company. She was offered 1200 S$ where norm is 1700S$
per month. It is a better off pay for a Burmese girl in such work and
she didn't need to know if this is a good pay or not. She just liked
to work under the following condition.

She has to stay in an apartment where an old Singaporean couple live.
It is where she is not allowed to cook or boil water. By all means,
she must reimburse 750 S$ for her living and meals for all Singaporean
package-like life.

10 days ago from writing this post, I heard that something went wrong
with her. She was having a problem her stomach or appendix
inflammation. She suddenly vomit after having lunch with her manager.
