Wonder how much of the 'charitable' deductions at mosques ie
taxpayers money is funneled under the $200 limit to his campaign?
Her mistake was neglecting the caucaus states
excerpt realclearpolitics.com
But why 139 delegates? That is precisely the number of
delegates he has netted from the caucuses, which have all been
low-turnout affairs. That's a key point. Even in states where Obama
held a demographic advantage - there were presumably enough Clinton
supporters in the state to level the playing field. Kansas is a good
example. Obama won Kansas by about 18,000 caucus votes - out of only
37,000 or so cast. This is a state that gave Bill Clinton 388,000
votes in 1996. Surely, she could have found another 18,000 Kansans to
support her.
excerpt
Since 2005, Barack Obama has donated three times as much as
Senator Clinton to Democratic superdelagates. The study found that the
presidential candidate who gave more money to superdelegates received
the endorsements 82 percent of the time. As noted in the Weekly
Standard,

"Does Art imitate Life?"

"Al-Qaida" = "General Mahmoud Ahmad"
How dare CNN and CBC suggest the enemy bushite nazi forces
aren't OPENLY pushing heroin out of Afghanistan into America
to serve life term prison sentences to the neoconned masses
for slave labor wages. How dare CBC and CNN suggest that nazi
America didn't give AIDS to black AND white gay folk for the
nazi enemy pleasures of doing so for anti-GOD Zionism.
How dare CNN and CBC suggest children of HIV parents aren't
TODAY, kidnapped in New York City, then poisoned to death
for corporate bounties of greed through mass murder. Save
American children from murder?, or no because John would
then be allotted a space to speak freely for open public
challenge through lively debate internationally. Demand
Coast to Coast except our calls for clarity, or don't.

ZIA
Travellers using Zia International Airport are constantly anxious
about the harassment that awaits them at Zia airport. It is like
stepping into a beast's den. The civil aviation officials move in a
pack to pounce on an innocent prey.
These corrupt individuals also play a role in the drug and smuggling
trade, when they are rewarded for acting blind.
The civil aviation staffs remind me of one of the tax collectors from
the Robin Hood stories, where they make their own treacherous laws and
severely punish those who question them. The violent attack on
Barrister Rizwan Hussain exposed the true corruption and violence
taking place at the airport.

Nat'l Women Dev Policy - 'Implement it without violating Quranic
laws'
Staff Correspondent
Speakers at a roundtable yesterday demanded implementation of the
National Women Development Policy without violating the Quranic laws.
Hailing the government for announcing the policy, they said it should
be implemented in the light of the Quranic laws.
The roundtable titled 'Women's Rights in Islam' was organised by Nari
Odhikar Andolan at the National Press Club in the capital yesterday.
“If we were given the rights that were given by Islam to us then there
was no need to fight for any policy for development,” said former
principal of Titumir Government College Prof Chemon Ara while
presiding over the roundtable.
“Islam has given us proper honour, sometimes more than men, but we do
not get that honour in our familial, social and political life,” she
added.

Case against 50 thousand! - Making a farce of law enforcement
Implicating as many as 50 thousand people in two separate cases for
torching passenger launches on the Buriganga last Sunday has been both
farcical and preposterous. While a big incident like this one should
have impelled a full-fledged investigation, the FIR was done quite
hastily and on a weak legal premise. Hence one may justifiably ask:
How can anyone include so many unspecified people in an FIR, and then
go about doing the investigation? More often than not, such wide
casting of net opens floodgates for exacting vendetta and rent
seeking.

Barroso: Islam is part of Europe
BRUSSELS , May 5: The President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, underlined
here Monday that Islam is part and parcel of Europe and he also condemned the concept of clash
of civilisations.
"Islam today is part of Europe. It is important to understand this. One should not see Islam as
outside Europe. We already have an important presence of Islam and Muslims among our citizens,"
Barroso told a press conference this afternoon after an informal dialogue between EU leaders
and around twenty high-level representatives of Christianity, Judaism and Islam in Europe.
"We can be a European citizen being a Christian, being Jewish or Muslim or having no religion,"
he noted.
On his part, the Grand Mufti of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Dr.Mustafa Ceric, said Islam is indeed part
of Europe but unfortunately Turkey is not yet part of Europe.
"Following this logic Europe has to prove that Islam is part of Europe by not delaying the
acceptance of Turkey to the EU," Ceric told the joint press conference.
Many people in Turkey and the Muslim world believe that Turkey will not be accepted as an EU
member because it is a Muslim country.
Mondays meeting was co-chaired by European Commission President Barroso, Slovenian Prime
Minister and current President of the European Council, Janez Jansa, and the President of the
European Parliament, Hans-Gert Pottering.

A peep into rich history of Islam in Detroit
By Saadia Khalid
ISLAMABAD: Depicting the history of Muslims’ arrival in Detroit and their settlement there, an
exhibition of photographs titled ‘Building Islam in Detroit’ started at the National Art
Gallery (NAG) here on Friday.
Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) organised the exhibition in collaboration with US
embassy.
Detroit, Michigan, is home to one of the largest, oldest Muslim populations in the United
States (US) where the first mosque was built in 1921 and since then there had been tremendous
growth in Muslim heritage in the city.
The mosques captured are ideal examples of this creative process, as they are sites at which
Muslims give collective, material expression to their belief.
The mosques are also work of art where sacred words, images, and sounds combine to produce
spaces of unusual beauty. The photographs depict mosques as a place where Muslim comes together
to worship and to strengthen their community through communal prayer.
The pictures also present the social world of mosques where celebrations like fasting,
pilgrimage and Eids are made during these special occasions.
