US paid bounty to Pakistan to arrest Canadian terror suspect
OTTAWA (AFP) - A US intelligence agency paid a 500,000-dollar bounty
to Pakistan's military for the arrest of the Canadian son of a
suspected Al-Qaeda financier, said court documents.
According to an October 2004 memo to the head of the Royal Canadian
Mounted Police (RCMP) ordered released by Canada's federal court,
Abdullah Khadr was wanted for "supporting insurgent activity in
Pakistan and Afghanistan."
Thus, Khadr "is deemed to be a national security threat and has a
500,000 US dollar outstanding bounty for his capture," said the memo
published on the website of the daily Globe and Mail, which fought for
its disclosure.

All govts in the world are very unpopular - due to high oil
and food costs. In a three way contest , Clinton could win the white
and hispanic votes , they remember that times were good under Bill
Clinton. Less than 40m people have voted in the Republican and
Democratic primaries and Obama has won thanks to the high African
turnout.
In a general election 140m vote . Obama's vote is not going to
go beyond the 15m he has achieved. Clinton will get the Republicans
who want to change , the Hispanics , the blue collar whites , the
Asians. She should run for president. She doesnt have to campaign and
spend any more money. If Ralph Nader can run , so can she.
Obama is not a democrat , he is a left wing Stalinist who wont
allow a revote in Florida or Michigan and her loyalty should be to the
Democrats...

As Israel celebrates 60 years of statehood this month, Palestinians
are taking the opportunity to remember the catastrophic shattering of
their society in 1948. It is not simply a question of recalling the
past; they continue to struggle for self-determination and to have
their rights recognized under international law.
Yet it is a mistake to consider the past 60 years as simply a story
of
unmitigated disaster for the Palestinian people. There have also been
significant successes and achievements – and it is a story worth
telling. This is all the more remarkable, given the extent to which
the society was devastated in 1948: Israel destroyed some 400
villages
as 85 percent of Palestinians in what became Israel were
dispossessed.

Here's the article ...
While most of the nation appears mired in the middle of a severe housing
slump, the southwest corner of Riverside County may be showing signs of
recovery.
In April, the number of houses sold was higher than the year before for the
fourth straight month, leaping 73 percent last month from a year ago.
And, for the first time since the housing market took a dive, house sales in
the Temecula-Murrieta region were higher than sales in 2006, near the peak
of the housing boom.
To be sure, not all housing data in Southwest Riverside point to recovery.

In Canada, the country that doesn't worry about a military budget
because it hides behind America for protection, and where
1/2 of the population supports the other 1/2,
prisoners have PCs and TVs in their cells,
female teachers encourage female students to practice boy bashing,
the sexual age of consent is 14, and
"reverse" racism against Caucasian males is even worse than in the US,
global warming will provide this white wasteland with the opportunity
to become breadbasket of the world. The rich, fertile, virgin loam
under that white waste will provide the growing medium, and the
melting Arctic ice will provide abundant moisture.
Lucky Canuckistanis; God is shedding His grace upon thee.

Losses suffered by Britain's largest banks as a result of the global credit
turmoil will add further pressure on the public finances by cutting the
amount of corporation tax paid by the financial services industry.
Figures compiled by the Financial Times show that the
