There's a funny story, at least to me, in the Pom papers just now,
about a spy they've found in the army in Afghanistan.

The fellow was born in Iran and speaks Frasi, English and Afghani. The
thought he'd be ideal for the job. Now, after reading his e-mails
(silly boy) MI5 find that he's been telling the Iranians everything
that his boss, the General in charge of over 3000 men in Afghanistan
has been saying. Quelle surprise. He sounds like a patriot to me, but
the Poms are calling him a traitor and a spy. The Judge even said that
things that he was saying in court might impact National Security and
forbade reports of its nature - isn't the cat rather out of that bag?

It seems that MI5 is a little slow on the uptake - maybe James Bond was
actually a Soviet agent, which is why we have Mr Putin in charge - who
knows.

Hi all,

I play in a Moslem football team in a Sunday league. 6 of our players are
gay and since the other players found out we have been subjected to a lot of
abuse and threats. I have heard that there is a London based gay Moslem
football league but I do not know any other information. If anybody knows
how I can contact them please could you let me know.

RMG workers demonstrate against salary decrease

The workers of FS Sweater factory in Gazipur held demonstrations and
kept the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway blocked for half an hour on Monday,
protesting at the factory authorities' decision to decrease wages and
allowances.

The workers said authorities of the factory, a concern of the SQ
Group, trimmed down the production wage to Tk 36 from Tk 58 and cut
other allowances, decreasing the salaries of around 6,000 workers of
the factory.

Enraged, the workers started agitation on Sunday, demanding increase
in their salaries.

Apprehending trouble, the authorities shut down the factory for an
indefinite period and hanged a notice in the gate.
