A new 4-room HDB unit selling for $300,000.00?

Author: Tah Hwoh Chi
Date: Jul 21, 2008 22:45

If I am the PAP government and tell you that a new 4-room pigeon hole
flat selling for $300K is heavily subsidized based on land that the
government did not buy. How about that? Well some Pap ministers and
their cronies need money to gamble away for bad investments overseas.
GICs? Temasek?????

Statement on the 5th Anniversary of Nai Yekha's and Nai Cheem Gakao's
Imprisonment (July 17, 2008)

July 17, 2008, marks the 5th anniversary of imprisonments of the two
Mon activists, Nai Yekha and Nai Cheem Gakao. Nai Yekha and Nai Cheem
Gakao were sentenced to life in prison because of their activities in
organizing and educating people about democracy and human rights in
Burma. On this anniversary, Mon communities around the world join Nai
Yekha's and Nai Cheem Gakao's families in saying prayers for their

The current Burmese military regime accused them of conspiracy for

Wow, heavily subsidized public housing HDB flats selling for $700K per unit

Author: AleXX
Date: Jul 20, 2008 22:07

The Singapore Government has a lion heart for their fellow citizens and PR.
They are selling their heavily subsidized public housing HDB pigeon hole
flats for about $700K which they normally clean off whatever CPF savings
those buyers have and to get a private loan from a Bank and pay monthly
installment throughout their lives.
