Revenge!! Yes. But first thing first.
As I wrote before that killing Imad Maghnieh after twenty-five years
of warring against imperialism and zionism, does not speak well of
both the United States of America in its foreign policy and Israel.
It means merely that a defender of Arabs and Muslims can evade such a
great and formidable power wreaking havoc among its ranks for a long,
long, time. That is not an achievement. It is merely a provocation.
Of course, Palestinians, Iraqis, Arabs and Muslims should retaliate
in
kind by assassinating some of the Israel leadership anywhere in the
world. An Israeli leader should always look over his/her shoulder as
such a person is a target.
Assassination of Palestinian, Iraqi and other Arab and Muslim leaders
has been a policy of both Israel and the United States of America on
behalf of Israel and the Israeli/Jewish Lobby. This means that...

When he was dying on the cross Jesus reportedly said, "Forgive them
for they know not what they do".
So he did not seek revenge.
Rather then seek revenge for deeds of the past, wouldn't it be better
to seek peace and security?
Eg by building alliances.
But who would want an alliance with someone who is seeking revenge?
Such a relationship would be risky wouldn't it?

Well there is a story about him taking revenge on a fig tree.
Matthew 21:18-22
"Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was
hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found
nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear
fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered."
But I would like to think this was a moment of weakness and not an
example that we should follow !

That is true. He fought for what he believed. That included violence
when he overthrew the tables of the money changers in the temple.

Well Moses, led Jews to believe that they could establish Israel in
the "promised land".
Was he a false prophet?

He was also on the Sunni shit list for a long time. As a Shiite he is
credited with the killing of many major Sunni's. It wouldn't surprise anyone
if the Sunni's did him in.
