SEATTLE - Seattle Police are investigating to determine if an attack on a
16-year-old West Seattle boy was racially motivated.
Shane McClellan's father says his son was walking home from a friend's house
Tuesday around 2 a.m. when he was approached by two men - one black and one
Asian.
Asking him first for a light, they then attacked him, kicking and hitting
him and threatening him with a gun, said McClellan.
"They started punching, knocked him down, kicking him, robbed him of
everything, stole his coat, shoved him to the ground, stuck a gun in the
back of his head," described McClellan. "I can't tell you what it's like to
see and not even be able to recognize your son."
McClellan says they also burned the back of Shane's neck with cigarette
butts before taking out a belt and making the racially-charged comments.
"When they were beating with the belt [they said] that they hated white
people, and that's what the whipping was for," said McClellan.
Shane said they told him they singled him out because that was what his
ancestors did to theirs.
The teen was unconscious until about 7 a.m., said McClellan, and he then
stumbled into the street and was helped to a hospital by a passerby.

Maybe offer 'em real estate in the Gulf of Mexico in return for
cleaning up the oil spill!
Or like what used to be done done in Florida -- sell or give 'em under-
water properties.
Hey, a lot of Bush's formaldehyde Katrina trailers can be converted
into oil-sweepers, boats roomy enough for families of 10 or less.
Ideal.

You might have a point here, but I believe that the CIA is not the
sole U.S. agency geared to keep the Bush-Cheney heightened-fear-
factors alive among the American populace.
One frightening possibility is that the Obama administration might not
fully know what the U.S intelligence community is up to.
The so-called "Black Arts" budgets are ultra-close-hold, as secretive
as was the Manhattan Project.

Reader and prolific commenter Obsidian was interested in my take on this
article by a white woman
who discusses her preference for black men.
Black skin is thick and lush, sensuous to the touch, like satin and
velvet made flesh. There’s
only one patch of skin on a white man’s body that remotely compares to
nearly every inch of a
black man’s skin.
I have no idea what black man skin feels like, since VK won’t let me run
my hands up and down his
chiseled biceps and give a squeeze for good measure, but I remember the
skin of the last black
woman I slept with — it was wrinkle-free and taut but also somewhat
rough in spots, like
sandpaper. The softest female skin I have ever touched was on an Asian
woman.
And I had the socially acceptable explanation for my craving. I used that

With the Supreme Court Justices sitting right in front of him, President
Barack Obama unloaded in
his State of the Union address on this past week's ruling qualifying
corporations as having the
rights of citizens and opening the "floodgates" to their political
donations.
"Last week, the Supreme Court reversed a century of law to open the
floodgates for special
interests - including foreign corporations - to spend without limit in
our elections," Obama
said. "Well I don't think American elections should be bankrolled by
America's most powerful
interests, or worse, by foreign entities. They should be decided by the
American people, and
that's why I'd urge Democrats and Republicans to pass a bill to correct
some of these problems."
There was some strong applause from members of Congress -- with both
sides of the chamber rising
