Hello. I'm new here.

I am recently divorced and interested in a guy. I simply want a place
to discuss this from time to time and get your thoughts.

It's very soon for me to be interested in someone, maybe. But my
separation from my husband has occurred over the last 2 years, so I am
not grieving other than the loss of the relationship and failure of the
marriage itself. My ex and I are very good friends still and talk
daily as necessary.

Situation:

Husband and I are struggling a bit financially for various reasons. We
have no savings as we are both lousy with money. We have to move out
of our apartment soon as our landlord is selling, but we don't have the
money to put down for a security deposit on a new place. So I
suggested that we move back into my mom's apartment, at least until we
save up enough $$$ to get a new place.

My husband is extremely opposed to the idea of moving back with my mom.
He says that he would literally rather live in a cardboard box than go
back there as he finds it to be too much of a stressful environment.
We lived there for over a year initially as he came from
another country and couldn't work. I'll admit that it was very
difficult....we had little privacy and the fights I had with my mom
can't have been easy for my husband to deal with, but he was getting a
free ride, effectively.
