How did I know you were going to say that? Everything anybody
else mentions is "old news" according to you. "The future?
Oh, that's *so* fifteen minutes ago! I've been there and back
any number of times since 1969. You're not missing anything,
believe me. Nobody who so much as mentions the future deserves
to be taken seriously."
You pompous wankstain. When it comes to none-too-subtle one-
upmanship, you're as predictable as Don Steiny. (I hear he's
in Vienna this week, discussing French existentialist philos-
ophers with cab drivers.)

Your mother must be very proud, miss. Only a self-absorbed
asshole would ever volunteer that sort of information. My
father calls that "telling stories in which you're the hero."
And whatever his considerable faults, he's entirely correct
in observing that it's in rather poor taste.
