What should an entry level Biomedical Engineer know how to do?

Author: JMayoral
Date: Sep 22, 2008 09:08

What would you say would be the type of preparation that a Biomedical
Engineer should have? Should they be strong in a single core
traditional engineering field such as mechanical or electrical
engineering? Should they be strongly prepared in a specific specialty
such as bioreactors?

  Interfacing with the Doctor Within

Author: tgideas
Date: Jul 5, 2008 13:13

FYI - TG Ideas LLC has recently launched a new blog "Interfacing with
the Doctor Within" - http://doctor-within.blogspot.com/

There seems to be a "Doctor Within" that takes care of most of the
body functions, with or without our help or the help of a medical
professional. Sometimes, however, the "Doctor Within" might need help
from the outside to complete the body repairs. Currently we only
"look in" to fix the health problem by our medical tests, etc. We
don't “ask” the "Doctor Within" what it needs to fix itself. This new
blog lays the foundation for better accessing and investigating the
"Doctor Within", perhaps by electronic means.

Cancer Early Warning Device-Contact-Field Optical Microscope

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkHeCQZ3iA4

Win the war against cancer is a long dream of human being. Infrared
radiation is the key indicator of living cell energy comsumption and
early warning sign for cancer cells.

Contact-field optical microscope is, in essence, a high-resolution,
broad-spectrum microscopic night vision equipment, by which, the
extremely weak infrared photon energy flow inside the living materials
could be detected. This detection is impossible by current microscopic
technology or methods.
The infrared energy flow, has a very close relationship with the
functional structure of material, and with the activities of life.
