No thanks! I cannot tolerate sodium nitrite either. Grinding up meat
does not remove toxins.

Eating mammals at the top of the food chain means that you are
consuming all the toxins that the mammal has consumed from consuming
things below him on the food chain, and so forth. The correct term for
this is biomagnification. In which case eating processed meat could be
less damaging.

Jihadis planning terror attacks on nuclear plants

And they will soon get through , with something like 400 odd
nuclear plants round the world , how can you safeguard all of them ?
Britain alone has thousands of hard core Islamic fundamentalists
Quran says 8.39 wage war till Islam rules the planet. Jihadis
believe they will go to heaven and be serviced by hoors if they follow
Allah's commands . Its time to encourage sensible Muslims to become
Hindus again

Even as police teams from various states interrogate Mohammed
Raziuddin Nasir, the man arrested in Karnataka for his alleged terror
links, investigating agencies have stumbled upon startling information
about his terror plans and his closeness to other terrorists.
The police have received information that Nasir visited key
installations in northern Karnataka several times and was planning
terror strikes in this area. He, along with his associates, was
planning terror attacks on the nuclear power plant near Karwar and the
INS Kadamba Naval base. Several maps with details of these crucial
installations have been recovered from Nasir.

Looks like your mindset is the problem, and it's clearly an
insurmountable problem at that.

What's needed is cheap and clean energy. Got any of that to spare?

Backers want renewable energy incentives in stimulus bill

Backers want renewable energy incentives in stimulus bill

Washington - Energy policy is hot. Politicians and providers
alike are pushing to develop energy policy as public awareness grows.

But there is a fight over the best way to provide energy,
for the economy as well as the environment. The renewable
energy industries - solar, wind, geothermal and hydropower -
depend on tax credits from the federal government and contend
they are being left out of legislation.

In December, President Bush signed the Energy Independence
and Security Act, which sets standards for vehicle and
appliance efficiency. The law also supports green building
projects by establishing the Office of High Performing
Green Buildings.

The law hardly seems to satisfy anyone completely. Those
who felt left out of last year's law are now preparing
to lobby for their proposals this year.

Scientists urge speedy emission cuts

Stepping up the pressure for political action
on global warming, scientists for the second
time in two months have called for strong measures
to curb greenhouse-gas emissions.

The American Geophysical Union (AGU) - the world's
largest scientific organization dedicated to Earth,
atmospheric, and space sciences - warned Thursday
that the world will need to reduce emissions by 50
percent below 1990 levels within this century if
countries are serious about holding down warming
to around 3.6 degrees F. by 2100.

Significantly warmer temperatures over that period
would lead to seriously disruptive changes for
societies as well as for ecosystems around the planet,
many scientists say.

Hi Paul,
I have not read here in some time. I will respond when all the fires are
out. There are plenty of papers on money creation and its history.

Best, Dan.

500 x 2 GW each should do the trick, of getting us another terawatt of
relatively clean energy that's not derived from anything fossil.
However, that's decades down the road and by then a lot of spendy
yellowcake, most of which would likely come from Australia, and some
from Canada or Russia.
