this is very interesting. One can make a strong case that the muslim
community has this exact problem with the screaming nutjobs (wahaddists
et al). The net result of no such denunciations, coupled with vocal
opposition to anyone who dares say something about it, leads Jo
non-muslim to conclude that muslims support that kind of crap. which
they probably dont, but deafening silence isnt a good way to communicate
that.

note the non-gender specific "Jo"
