OK. What really got Thompson going now?

All I can see is that the NYT wrote a story about McCain being warned
about the appearance of a conflict of interest in his dealings with a
lobbyist ........ during his last campaign for president (old news by
now).

Still illegal the way they did it, and particularly stupid since there
are laws which allow it to be done legally. Now they have admitted
the illegality and are trying to backdoor immunity for the complicit
crimes of the telcos.
