  The Oneness of God

The Oneness of God

The foundation of the Islamic faith is belief in the Oneness of
Almighty God - the God of Abraham, Noah, Moses and Jesus. Islam
teaches that a pure belief in One God is intuitive in human beings and
thus fulfills the natural inclination of the soul. As such, Islam's
concept of God is straightforward, unambiguous and easy to understand.
Islam teaches that the hearts, minds

and souls of human beings are fitting receptacles for clear divine
revelation, and that God's revelations to man are not clouded by self-
contradictory mysteries or irrational ideas. As such, Islam teaches...

  Father/daughter talk...

Father/daughter talk...

A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so
many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal
Democrat, and among other liberal ideals, was very much in favor of
higher taxes to support more government programs, in other words,
redistribution of wealth.

She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch
Republican, a feeling she openly expressed.

Based on the lectures that she had participated in, and the occasional
chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored
an evil, selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his.

One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher
taxes on the rich and the need for more government programs.

The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be
the truth and she indicated so to her father.

He asked how she was doing in school.

How can I stop LTSPice from using the hard drive

Author: Joerg
Date: Sep 19, 2008 11:59

Hello Folks,

Title says it all. LTSpice constantly grinds on the hard drive, storing
raw data and what not. In my case it's all on a LAN drive so this is
especially annoying. Plus that will wear it out over time, not good at
all. With a 2GB RAM machine there is no reason whatsoever to store 20M
of raw data on every single run.

How can I stop this?

Ok, simple circuit: Schmitt inverter, 10K resistor from output to input,
1000pF capacitor from input to ground. Vh set to about 20%% of Vhigh.
Should happily oscillate but I get the error message "Time step too
small". Also there is a noted dip in voltage down to about 80%%,
something which should even be possible with a digital behavioral device.

What gives? How can I fix that and make it run? Does it need some kind
of kicker?

Unrelated to my laptop battery issue, but I just received this
request...

"We are currently looking for somebody who has considerable experience
in battery design using Li-SOCL2 chemistry to help us accurately
characterize its behavior under different conditions (temp, load,
charge)."

Possible multi-week consulting.

Anyone with the appropriate experience, drop me an E-mail and I'll
make the introductions.
