  3D phylogenetic tree

Author: Martin
Date: Mar 5, 2008 19:47

Hey folks, I need some help, and I'm willing to pay for it. I am
developing a phylogenetic tree in 3D (on the computer). I understand
that in a cladogram, the radial distance is related to rRNA base
sequence changes and angle is related to diversity. In my model, I
will use the third dimension to represent time. So, I need data for
all of this for a modestly detailed tree (eukaryotes, archaea and
bacteria), maybe a few hundred branches total. (This is mainly a demo
model. Does anyone here have this kind of data? I'm guessing that this
might take a while to develop, and again, I'm willing to pay for it.
You can contact me directly at mgcqso@comcast.net. Thanks.
