Strange one this, but I'm curious all the same.
I bought a bunch of bananas, ate one or two, and had the rest still in the
carrier-bag in the passenger footwell of my car. They were fairly fresh
looking. A few hours later I was involved in a low speed (~30mph) head-on
collision, in which both passenger and driver airbags were deployed, filling
the car with smoke from the explosions.
Half an hour after the accident, I removed my belongings from the car just
before it was towed away. I then looked at the bananas a further hour later,
and they looked disgustingly 'off'. They seemed to have aged by a good week.
Any thoughts? Wierd huh? Are bananas sensitive to shock, or will it have
been the smoke?
cheers,
Carl
