This one stung me last night. Started out as just an itch on my hand .
Lots of mosquitoes in my area, so I brushed my hand and kept working.
The itch turned to pain and quickly intensified to worse pain than any
bee sting I've experienced. The closest I could compare the pain would
be a shot of Novacaine in the gums but sharper and more intense.
I shook my hand but the bug held on until I actually swatted it off
with my other hand. Almost like it was trying to lay eggs ? I expected
a possible allergic or other type of reaction so I cleaned the bite
immediately and took these photos just in case I had to seek medical
help. Sorry for the poor quality photos, I was still a bit shaken from
the pain. Can anyone identify this insect ? I live in Midwestern North

It is some kind of assassin bug (family Reduviidae,Hemiptera,true bugs).
Sorry, can't tell any more, I only know the central european species.
