This morning I've found this strange insect on my window (Milan -
Milano - Italy)
I want to identify it, it seems a mosquito.
The total lenght is about 3 cm (approx 1,20 inches)

It is a robber fly (Diptera family Asilidae). Robber flies are predators.
Not a threat to you, just to smaller insects and (possibly) spiders.

Wow! You are right, and the Robber Fly it's not common here. I've
found out that it's common in some places in southern Italy.
Many thank's to you, now I'm relaxed knowing that it's not a threat to
me.
