QC Analyst - QC Product Testing

Perform immunoassay, plasma, DNA, analysis, and other Quality Control
procedures. Prepare SOP's and train the appropriate personnel.

Essential Job Functions: Perform immunoassay, plasma, DNA analysis,
and other Quality Control procedures. Prepare SOP's and train the
appropriate personnel. Assist in technology transfer. Prepare and
execute installation, operation, and performance qualifications.
Evaluate, implement, and validate new procedures. Prepare validation
protocols, perform validation experiments, and prepare validation
reports. Conform to all GLP/GMP requirements.

Additional Job Functions: Perform immunoassay, plasma, and DNA for in-
process and final product testing to support the release of licensed
products and Phase III products.

Maintain instrumentation and other laboratory instrumentation
according to maintenance schedules and GMP requirements.

The purpose of the scedule below is to ensure a strong delivery of the
MOU and clarify for the partners on how to progress joint activities.

1. Meeting involving Chief Executives

Meetings between the Chief Executives of the two organizations will
take place annually. The purpose of these meetings will be to review
the progress of the joint projects and exchange relevant information
about the objectives and plans of the two organizations.

2. Business Group

A business Group will be set up involving up to three senior
representatives from each organization. This group will meet two or
three times progress activities and will commission new projects.

3. Project Terms

All projects will be jointly owned by a member of staff from both
organizations who will act as the named contact but in most cases one
organization will take the lead responsibility. The lead member of
staff will be responsible for reporting to Business Groups.

older, multi-year sea ice in the Arctic is giving way to younger,
thinner ice, making it more susceptible to record summer sea-ice lows
like the one that occurred in 2007.

The Bio-Protection Centre is a Centre of Research Excellence
comprising bioprotection scientists from leading research institutes
and universities throughout New Zealand, and is hosted by Lincoln
University. The Centre pursues and integrates multidisciplinary
research to develop new and appropriate technologies to meet the
challenges posed by increased threats of invasive pests, disease and
weeds, to New Zealand's natural and agricultural ecosystems.

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to an exciting
research programme for bio-security risk management.

The successful applicant will use a range of methods to develop models
and analyses to identify potential insect biosecurity threats and
model the potential distribution of new pest incursions in New
Zealand. The models will be based on a comprehensive database of
climatic and biotic variables and the global presence or absence of
key species. A combination of modern applied statistical methods,
Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), and other computational models may
be used to predict the risk of establishment of potential insect pests
under New Zealand environmental conditions.
