Uncharged organic molecule can bind negatively charged ions

Author: andrew.stephan4
Date: Feb 28, 2008 08:13

Indiana University Bloomington chemists have designed an organic
molecule [http://www.theanalystmagazine.com/pr/7010228.htm] that
binds negatively charged ions, a feat they hope will lead to the
development of a whole new molecular toolbox for biologists, chemists
and medical researchers who want to remove chlorine, fluorine and
other negatively charged ions from their solutions.

  Environmental awareness

Author: shirohosojima
Date: Feb 25, 2008 23:12

Hello,

I am currently doing a research about "enviromental
awareness" ,"environmental conscious" in the world.
I was wondering if there are any data about environmental awareness by
countries.
Another word, about what %% pf population of each country has
conscious about environment.

For example I have found this report from Tandberg:
http://www.tandberg.com/collateral/v...vey_report.pdf

If you have link to website that consist data about environmental
awareness by country, please let me know!

Thanks
Shiro
