The phrase "passive resistance" is something of an oxymoron,
because even non-violent resisters are by action opposed to
whatever, or whomever, he or she is non-violently resisting.
And this can take many forms, from silent prayer, to almost,
but not quite, inciting riots and provoking world war three,
from vengeful hexes and incantations, to civil disobedience,
noncooperation, noncompliance, protests, boycotts, "sit-ins",
information and disinformation warfare, and all expressions
of the arts, music, poetry, entertainment, film, television,
radio, books, periodicals, leaflets, pamphlets, you name it.
Passive resisters have tried everything in the book to make
their opposition to someone or something, mainly government
and big business, known to everyone within earshot, even to
God Almighty, and to the Devil himself, if it were possible.
This is where the Darwinian animal instinct often rears its
ugly head, because when push comes to shove, the vulnerable
become so passionate, so desperate, they are inclined to do
one of two things:

between the point of emission and the point of reception is one of the
reasons why we measure cosmological redshift here on earth.

Slashdot | Nuclear Decay May Vary With Earth-Sun Distance
""We've long thought that nuclear decay rates are constant regardless of
ambient conditions (except in a few special cases where beta decay can
be influenced by powerful electric fields). So that makes it hard to
explain two puzzling experiments from the 1980s that found periodic
variations over many years in the decay rates of silicon-32 and
radium-226. Now a new analysis of the raw data says that changes in the
decay rate are synchronized with each other and with Earth's distance
from the sun. The physicists behind this work offer two theories to
explain why this might be happening (abstract). First, some theorists
think the sun produces a field that changes the value of the fine
structure constant on Earth as its distance from the sun varies. That
would certainly affect the rate of nuclear decay. Another idea is that
the effect is caused by some kind of interaction with the neutrino flux
from the sun's interior which also varies with distance. Take your pick.
What makes the whole story even more intriguing is that for years
physicists have disagreed over the decay rates of several isotopes such
as titanium-44, silicon-32, and cesium-137. Perhaps they took their data
at different times of the year?""

OEBITAL MOTION AND THE FORCE OF GRAVITY ILLUSION.
Copyright 1984 - 2008 Allen C. Goodrich
Most of us were too yoiung to remember when we first heard that it was
a force of gravity that kept us on the earth. The force of gravity
between all masses is one of the best known principles or assumed
facts of modern science. There has been no doubt in our minds that
this is true. So, why should I try to tell you that there is no such
thing as a force of gravity. I might rather tell you that there is no
need for a force of gravity to cause orbital motion or for masses to
stay on the earth's surface.

Nowadays all relatively clever Einsteinians know that Einstein's 1905
light postulate is false and Einstein's gloomiest predictions have
come true:
Albert Einstein: "If the speed of light is the least bit affected by
the speed of the light source, then my whole theory of relativity and
theory of gravity is false."

Albert Einstein: "I consider it entirely possible that physics cannot
be based upon the field concept, that is on continuous structures.
Then nothing will remain of my whole castle in the air, including the
theory of gravitation, but also nothing of the rest of contemporary
physics."
Naive Einsteinians offer naive solutions to the problem:

I have a simple question and am
seeking a simple answer:
If Black Holes "radiate" as Hawking has proven does this
mean that information slowly leaks out of a Black Hole as it
"evaporates"?
If so, does this mean that communication from inside a
Black Hole to the outside is "theoretically" possible? IOW,
if an observer were trapped inside a Black Hole is there any
way, including the use of "Hawking Radiation", that he could
conceivably communicate with the outside world... even
faintly?
