And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm,

And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it
should shake with you; and rivers and roads, that you may guided
yourselves.” (Surat An-Nahl (The Bees):15)

This ayah appears towards the beginning of Surat An-Nahl (The Bee), a
Makkan Surah, which gets its name from the reference Allah makes in it
to bees and the special instinct He gave them. He has inspired them to
build beehives, to live an organized life and to follow many paths to
the flowers to provide us with the beneficial liquid that is produced
in the bellies of female bees. Allah has given bees the unique
privilege of being able to produce honey.

Surat An-Nahl deals with a lot of important concepts that make up the
pillars of the Islamic aqidah (creed), including:

· Complete belief in Allah’s divinity; that is He is the
Creator and has dominion over everything.

· Allah’s absolute Oneness above His creation.

· The absolute and limitless power of Allah.

· The unhindered will of Allah.

· The revelation (of the Qur’an).

club discount for Observer's Handbook 2009

CLUB DISCOUNT FOR OBSERVER'S HANDBOOK 2009
----------------------------------------
The 2009 Observer's Handbook of RASC, Canada, issued in mid
September 2008. It is now the time to obtain your copy.
Like in prior years, NYSkies offers the Observer's Handbook at a
substantial discount to astronomers in the US. They do not have to
scrounge and beg and grovel at listprice retail outlets for their
copy. The situation is far worse away from a large town. There may
be NO outlet to scrounge, beg, grovel at!
One of the benefits of astronomy clubs is that they can obtain a
discount for a quantity of the book and pass the savings to their
members. Your own club may do this already.
However, most clubs just can not get up enough requests to make a
discount quantity. The club is too small or too few of its members
appreciate the Observer's Handbook. The larger clubs usually secure
the discounts while the little ones suffer to pay listprice.
That's why the small clubs turned to NYSkies. We secure the
discounts for them. They in turn get the Observer's Handbook with NO
MINIMUM number required. Even if only a couple of their members want
the book, they get it at the big-club discount. ...

CALL FOR GLOBAL MAGNETIC MONOPOLE TESTING HELP

CALL FOR GLOBAL MAGNETIC MONOPOLE TESTING HELP

Magnetic monopole test results from around the world are needed. CALL
for help.
Every person (STUDENT) equipped with a minimum of technical skills,
will be able to do fundamental research, by building and testing this
new Permalloy/ Mu-metal instrument.
You need a simple compass, several copper bolts, a plastic self made
housing, and the Permalloy/ Mu-metal shielding (tube) of a Cathode Ray
Oscilloscope (not too small).

First the theoretical idea.

Based on my own measurements there is a firm support to accept a new
monopole ( South and North) quantum model for the magnetic field.

However more measurements from around the world will be needed to give
this model a more solid foundation.
That is why I am calling for support by amateurs just as I am myself.

"If this is rock, we are rocks."--a biology Ph.D. in Mars Forum

“If this is rock, we are rocks.”—a biology Ph.D. in Mars Forum

I was moved by the above words in the Mars Forum (Ref. 1) and decided
to label the photomicrograph taken by Phoenix Mars Lander. Fig. 1
below is labeled for five Haversian canals, seven blood vessel remains
(three coiled and four in the Haversian canals) and two cell remains
(one dendritic cell of 10 microns across).

NASA has plans to send more rovers to Mars to look for past life
there. So it could not possibly admit there were fossils or human life
on Mars. NASA is wasting your money, period.
