For my example, I choose Jodi Magness, an
archaeologist at the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill.
In the Qumran wars in the academic circle she
carries weight because she correctly concludes
that Qumran was an ESSENE settlement from
the archaeological evidence. (I draw the ESSENE
connection from Thiering pesher esoterica.)
However, I am not arguing this important point now.

it would have been in Nazareth, not Jerusalem,"
she said.

If you provoke further, Lee and I will come get you.
Lee knows more archaeology than you do.

BTW I notice no challenge from you on what I was
talking about in this thread. Go ahead and make
a challenge.

I prefer not to know much about you; I learn so much
more archaeology from others because of the way you
operate.

Folks, for the record, this is an example of Joe's prejudice.
Still, on the identification of Qumran as a monastic Essene
settlement I believe Joe agrees with me.
