Hi,
what kind of test did you do?
the problem is that I would like to know to what kind of particular human
race I belong,
I mean genetically if possible.
This test tells you that too?

(Ross? Are you seeing this?... ie, there is no such thing as "race"
in anthropology )

There is no such test.
"Caucasian" is a term based on a 17th Century French traveler's
unsubstantiated aomment on the sexual preferences of Turkish
harem eunuchs, i.e. fair-skinned, dark-haired women...

> Your classification system is not useful.
this could be, but since human race is divided in different and quite
distinguishable phenotype
there must be differences on the genotype which tell the same thing
(of course, I'm not looking for a racial label, but there is no need of such
a precisation here, I imagine)
what I am looking for is the genetical differences which differ asian from
white fron black from native americans etc.
there is not such a study on human race?

Your mtDNA sequence type would be the same as your mother's (as
opposed to that of your father's).

if that had been the definition of racism I would have been a racist,
but racism is the theory for which there would be differences in value
between different human phenotype,
and I don't say that.

Are you sure, is that an opinion or a scientific discovery?
Is there anything bad in saying I am culturally russian or chinese?
I don't think so.
So why should it be in some way bad to say I am genetically native american
or scandinavian?
