ich suche nach einer Erklärung für ein mir unverständliches Phänomen,
mit dem ich mich konfrontiert sehe wann immer ich mir einen
Instant-"Cappuccino" zubereite:

Ich nehme ein Trinkglas (z.B. ein ca. 0,3 oder 0,4 Liter fassendes
dickwandiges Glas, wie es oft in Cafes verwendet wird um darin
Milchkaffee zu servieren -
Form: nahezu zylindrisch, Grundfläche rund, aufgrund der leicht nach
Außen geneigten Wand erweitert sich das Gefäß nach oben hin etwas.
Wanddicke: ca. 2 mm. (IIRC funktioniert dies aber auch mit z.B. einem
üblichen Becher aus Keramik).

Fülle ich ein derartiges Glas mit heißem Wasser und stoße mit einem
metallenen Löffel gegen den Glasboden (beim Umrühren), dann höre ich nur
ein klickendes Geräusch. Gebe ich nun aber ein ein
Instant-Cappuccino-Pulver zu [bestehend aus Süßmolkenpulver 63%%,
löslichem Kaffee 18%%, hydriertem Pflanzenfett, fettarmem Milchpulver,
Salz, Stabilisator E339 (TriNatriumPhosphat)] und rühre um, dann
verändert sich das Klopfgeräusch und klingt nun voll, resonant, tief,
ähnlich dem Klang einer reifen Wassermelone.
