Hi all,

I recently bought a sony dvd player with a surround sound speaker
system..
It's not the best surround sound system but it's a lot fancier than my
TV's audio..

I was trying to watch a movie a friend of mine gave me, but it's a
burned copy and .. Whilst the movie plays, it jumps a lot and it gets
really annoying..

Normal videos work, but I tried a few different burned copies that
don't work.
They do work on the computer, and on other dvd players, just not this
one..

Is there something that can be done?
Perhaps it's something a firmware update could fix?

Does anyone experience similar things, or is it something sony is
notorious for?
