Well, the last time I checked, the Presidio is still not part of the City
and County of San Francisco, but part of the GGNRA, with non-coastal
portions managed by the Presidio Trust....all federal land.

Interesting sidelight is that I understand that if a homicide is committed
and the body dumped somewhere in the GGNRA - including the Presidio - the
case becomes a federal one, with FBI involvement.
