Thanks for all replies. I should have given a little more detail.
Hostels are OK, and so are Pensions, Apartments, etc.. We have
been advised to see:
- Castle Royal Palace
- Fisherman’s Bastion
- Matthias Church
- Gellért Hill
- Chain Bridge
- The Great Synagogue and Jewish Museum
- Parliament Buildings
- Statue Park
- Gerbeaud
- Szechenyi Gyogyfurdo baths

Any suggestions for additions/deletions? We would like to stay for
2 nights within walking distance or easy-reach by public
transportation.
